Company

We started on the dock, not in a deck.

MARINAmerica began as software for one marina's tenants — because the alternative was a bulletin board and a group text. The owners who saw it working asked for the rest: better billing, better staff, better financing, and eventually, a buyer. The company is the answer to those requests, in order.

How we're organized

One parent, three platforms, one brand you'll recognize.

MARINAmerica is the holding company. The software platform trades under its own name; the operating and capital businesses trade under ours.

The tenant-facing product is wotteri — its own brand, its own site, and the name marina residents actually use. That separation is deliberate: the people on the dock should never have to think about the holding company behind the app, and the owners and investors we work with should never wonder whether they're buying software or a partner.

Operating principles

Five things we actually argue about.

The dock decides

Every product and operating decision gets tested against the person standing on a finger pier with wet hands and a phone. If it doesn't work there, it doesn't work.

Show the working

Numbers come with their build-up. Estimates are labeled as estimates. When we're guessing, we say which part is the guess.

Own the outcome

We take engagements where we can be measured — NOI against a budget, a close by the tenth, a search filled. Advice without accountability is cheap and we don't sell it.

Conflicts in writing, first

We manage marinas, broker marinas, and buy marinas. Those roles conflict by nature. Every client is told which hat we're wearing and what we earn, before the engagement starts.

Boring where it counts

Billing, permissions, and money movement get the least clever implementation available. Save the ambition for the parts nobody else has built.

Leadership

Who you'll be working with.

We publish names and faces or we publish nothing — a page of placeholder executives helps no one doing diligence. Bios go up as each platform’s leadership is announced. In the meantime, introductions and references are available on request: hello@marinamerica.com.

Careers

Marina people and software people, in the same room.

It is a strange combination and it is the entire point. If you have run a fuel dock or shipped a billing system — ideally one and admired the other — we'd like to talk.

Operators

General managers, dockmasters, and service leads who have run a facility through a full season and know what breaks in August.

Engineers

Product-minded full-stack engineers who would rather ship something a 68-year-old boat owner can use than something that demos well.

Investment team

Analysts and associates who can underwrite a real asset, read a submerged-land lease, and hold their own with a lender.

Shared services

Billing, collections, payroll, and close specialists who care that the tenth business day means the tenth business day.

We hire ahead of posted roles. Send what you’ve built or run — a résumé is fine, a story about a season that went sideways is better — hello@marinamerica.com.

Come see what we're building.

Whether you own a marina, finance them, or want to work on them — the conversation starts the same way.
